Authenticity at Work: A Pride Networking Event

​On 24thJune our Trinnovo Talks community came together to hold an in-person event in Dublin, ‘Authenticity at Work – A Pride Networking Event’, hosted by our LGBTQIA+ Employee Engagement Group.

This event was hosted by Dogpatch Labs and collaborated with our Charity Partner, Transgender Equality Network Ireland (TENI). In the run-up to the event We worked with TENI to raise funds to help support and advocate for the transgender community in Ireland.

During the discussion, we were joined by:

• Aisling Conlon, Communications Manager at Dogpatch Labs

We explored unconscious bias and misconceptions surrounding different gender and sexual identities. Highlighting the importance of recognising, acknowledging, and using the correct pronouns and name(s). Our panel discussed their personal experiences with bias and how businesses and individuals can do more to support, be proactive and advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community.
